Our Milestones

1983-1999

Early years and global expansion

Dimension Data is founded in 1983, and is aligned with Cisco as its primary networking partner. 

2000-2004  

Multiple technology towers

After listing on the London Stock Exchange, we are able to enhance our value proposition and expand into the UK, North America and Europe through key acquisitions.

2005-2009

Continent expansion

We expanded our operations in North America, the Middle East and Africa and merged our UK and continental Europe businesses into Dimension Data Europe. 

2010-2012

Key acquisitions  gained

Dimension Data acquires specialist startups including OpSource, Xigo and BlueFire and is in turn acquired by NTT. 

2013-2014

Nothern hemisphere expansion

Our acquisitions of NextiraOne and Nexus IS enable us to scale our networking capabilities into the northern hemisphere. 

2015-2018

Growth in brand awareness

Dimension Data signs a five-year technology deal with Amaury Sports Organisation (A.S.O.) to revolutionise the viewing experience of billions of fans across the globe. We were also certified by the Top Employers Institute as a Top Employer, both globally and country specific, and have held those positions for a number of years.

Back to our roots

With the NTT global rebrand, we represent NTT in the Middle East and Africa region, leveraging our strong brand equity. We can now serve clients using NTT’s shared services, technology and platform investments.

2020

Dimension Data unifies operations to become more client focused

Britehouse, Internet Solutions and Continuity SA are united under one brand, Dimension Data to unlock opportunities for greater innovation and to better deliver the changing technology needs of its clients.
